Benefit Cosmetics Hoola Bronzer – Review
I jumped on the contouring bandwagon quite early in my blogging journey. I have always had fuller cheeks, even when I was slimmer, so I feel like contouring helps bring out my features better. I have made my share of contouring mistakes with deeper bronzers, shimmery bronzer etc. but finally I learned that matte bronzer with gray undertones work great as contours. The rest of the bronzers work well to warm up the complexion. And the first product that I have enjoyed contouring with is the Benefit Cosmetics Hoola Matte Bronzer. You have already seen it in many of the makeup tutorials I have done. So here is the review for you!

Benefit Cosmetics Hoola Bronzer comes wine in a hard cardboard packaging with cute prints. The box comes with a mirror and a flat brush. The box also comes with a plastic sheet that keeps the bronzer safe! The packaging is sturdy but I still have qualms about travelling with these. They are not unbreakable you know. Otherwise the packaging is cute. I rarely use the mirror provided within but I think it will come handy while travelling!
The bronzer powder is a matte medium brown shade that would work great to contour skin shade upto NC35 or 40 (I am NC 35). The texture is smooth and it is matte making it perfect for adding color and sculpting the face. By far this has been the best bronzer I have ever tried.
The Benefit Cosmetics Hoola Bronzer is not exactly affordable but there is a lot in the packaging and I haven’t even finished half despite using it for so many months! So it will last long and be every bit worth its cost.
It is also long-lasting and works well with any foundation or powder. I sometimes do not even use a blush. It still looks pretty natural. I also use the brush provided with Benefit Hoola and I think it works fine. It is not the best brush out there but gets the job done!

Overall I highly recommend the Benefit Hoola Bronzer to everyone who is looking for a bronzer cum contouring powder. It works well to give a bit of warmth to the face and can also be great as a contouring powder. It is a bit pricey and availability is also limited because it is sold only in Sephora as of now (in addition to Amazon). But I think the quality and quantity make this totally worth its price. It would work great for Fair to medium skintones (upto NC40) in my opinion!
