Biotique Botanicals Bio Saffron Dew Youthful Nourishing Day Cream Review, Price in India
Hi everyone. Today I am going to review a skincare product from an Indian brand. I have used Biotique products many times in the past. I remember having tried a lot of their products way back in 2007 and 2008 specifically. I used to love their Bio Honey Facial Cleanser and Winter Cherry Body nourisher. I recently started using their products again. A few weeks ago, I reviewed their Bio Honey Water Clarifying Toner as well. Today I am going to review Biotique Bio Saffrom Dew Nourishing Day Cream. Let’s get started.
Product: Biotique Botanicals Bio Saffron Dew Youthful Nourishing Day Cream
Price: 230 INR | Buy Biotique Bio Honey Water Online
Quantity: 50 g
Claim: Saffron is one of the world’s most beloved and precious spices, a natural source of vitamins, and nutrients with rejuvenating properties. This light-feeling moisturizer is blended with pure saffron, almond and pistachio oils, as well as turmeric and wild turmeric extracts to replenish and help sustain skin’s dewy fullness of youth. Dry lines and wrinkles are visibly reduced with regular use.
Biotique Bio Saffron Dew Youthful Nourishing Day cream comes in a white plastic tub packaging with a green twist open lid. The tub comes in a beautifully colourful cardboard packaging that houses all the details about the product such as ingredients, manufacturing date, claim, price, brand logo, tagline etc. The tub has a thing white plastic stopper. It does not come with a spatula.
Packaging is pretty basic and I think being a 50 g size, it is travel-friendly. I am going to slather this in the coming weeks and finish it up so I am not worried about it going bad. Usually, tub packaging for such skincare product is not considered hygienic. Plus, the cream is exposed to air every time the packaging is open which means that the ingedients get oxidised (probably less potent) as the time goes on.
Enough with the packaging!
This day cream is peachy in color, quite close to the color of saffron when it is dissolved in milk. It smells strong which makes me think that this cream contains fragrance (not a plus in my opinion). But I think, the color and scent make for the experience of this Saffron-based cream. It has a light but creamy formula.
Just a pea sized amount is enough for my face. I have been using it every day for more than 2 weeks now and I think it is pretty moisturizing. I have dry skin which is flaky in Delhi winter right now (I do’n even want to think about what is coming up in the coming weeksL) and this one, coupled with my The Body Shop serum, is keeping my skin in a great condition.
I would have loved to see the complete list of ingredients but Biotique do not practice that. They have only listed 5 ingredients and left the rest labelled as cream base Q.S.

I think that the Biotque Bio Saffron Nourishing Day Cream is moisturizing enough for dry skin. It is great for winters when the skin is drier than the rest of the year. This cream might be a bit heavy for oily skin, though. This is such a big tub that I will not be able to finish it for at least a couple of months. By then I will be bored eliminating any chance of repurchase of this particular product. I am now thinking about trying out a few more products from the brand. I already have the Bio Citron Stimulating Body Massage Oil which I will be reviewing soon.
