The Body Shop Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter Review
Hi everyone! How are you today? I am having a day out (with myself) at the Ambience Mall, Gurgaon. Since I am a full-time blogger, I rarely take days off when there are no family commitments. So I am working today as well. I love sitting with a cup of coffee and writing blogposts. The coffee high just makes me run 10x faster. Of course I will check out the H&M store that opened here last month. Anyhow. I have been trying so many new makeup products these days, I feel like my makeup cleanser is working overtime. And one of my most used ones is The Body Shop Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter. Here is a detailed review for you!

The Body Shop Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter comes in a silver tin tub packaging with white accents. The packaging is really compact. Since this is makeup remover is in solid state, there are no chances of spillage or anything. I love this packaging. It can be considered a bit low on hygiene factor but using a little spatula or clean hands can solve that problem. The cleansing butter itself looks like solidified Coconut Oil.
The Body Shop Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter has a light scent that is barely noticeable. It is thick (like a cleansing balm) and I just need a pea-sized amount to cover my whole face. It emulsifies when it comes in contact with water taking away all the makeup. There is not makeup or cleanser residue left behind on the skin. I pat my skin dry and then apply a toner followed by my serum and moisturizer.
Since I have dry skin, one of the issues I used to have with cleansing milks was that some of them left my skin dry or left some residue behind. So I am glad to be using this cleansing butter.
Before I confirmed the name in detail (that it is a cleansing butter) I was telling everyone that a cleansing balm from The Body Shop is fabulous. Anyhow, I found out soon enough to know the difference. The Body Shop also makes a Camomile cleansing milk. But ever since I started wearing waterproof makeup, I have been keener on cleansing oils and cleansing balms/butters. I feel like they help remove makeup more efficiently! It is probably a matter of preference.

Overall I am quite pleased with how The Body Shop Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter works for me. Since it does not leave any residue behind, I think it will work for all skintones. It takes away all makeup, dirt and excess oil leaving a clean skin behind. It is perfect for everyday use as well. Of course using Olive oil or Coconut oil to remove makeup will work out cheaper but I think The Body Shop Camomile Cleansing Butter is also good value for money!
