Chambor Glitzy Gloss 801 Crystal – Review, Swatches
I have always been a lipstick girl but last year I started seriously committing to lip glosses. And since I have unevenly pigmented lips, I like to go for gloss that have some color payoff as well. If I am using a lipliner or a lipstick underneath then I am ok with any gloss but I want to use it alone, I like to apply concealer on my lips and then top it off with a gloss. It looks better that way. So anyway, I have had this Chambor Glitzy Gloss for quite a while and just realized that I have not reviewed it on the blog yet. So here it is!

Chambor Glitzy Gloss 801 Crystal is a watermelon pink gloss with gold shimmer particles in it. It is a unique shade in my opinion and quite difficult to find in gloss form. I stumbled upon it a few months ago and have loved using it.
The Chambor Geneva Glitzy Gloss comes in clear rectangular plastic tube with black twist open lid. It comes with a classic doe foot applicator. I like the packaging, it is practical and also the shade is easy to locate (being in a clear plastic case). I like Chambor packaging, they are a mid range drugstore brand and do classy packaging!
This Chambor Gloss has a creamy consistency and glides like butter on the lips. It adds the right amount of oomph to the look. It looks good on its own but works best for me when applied on a concealer or lipstick. It is not transfer proof and does not leave a stain behind. It stays on my lips for about 2-3 hours!
However, the formula is a bit thick and sticky for my liking. The scent is also a bit off, it feels like a fruity scent gone wrong. But that might just be my piece (idk)
I tried finding a good FOTD photo with this lip gloss but despite me wearing this so many times, there is no good one. The most decent one is the photo I have shared below but my expression is a bit off (and funny!)
Overall I think Chambor Glitzy Gloss is a well-pigmented gloss which looks gorgeous on the lips. The look it gives is worth the money even though it is a bit sticky and I am not a huge fan of the scent. This gloss feels hydrating to the lips and does not feather or travel outside the lip line. I would recommend it to people looking for colorful glosses at an affordable price!
