Hi everyone! I picked up a few of the makeup products from Colorbar last month to get to know the brand since I have not had much exposure to it. I picked up a brush set, three lip products and am in the process of trying them out before reviewing them here. The first product that I started trying out was the Colorbar Kiss Proof Lip Stain and here is the review. I have already worn it in a fashion post in the past!

Shades: There are 8 shades in the in Colorbar Kiss Proof Lip Stain range, namely:
002 Royal Pink
004 Blush Crush
005 Palm Beach
006 Mauve Dusk
007 Haute Latte
I swatched all of the shades from this range before selecting the 002 Royal Pink and I can assure you that each colour from this line is different and ranges from light peach, light pink to deep pink and red!
Colorbar Kiss Proof Lip Stain comes in a silver plastic tube packaging with two parallel windows that reveal the lip stain. The tube comes in a silver cardboard packaging with all the details – ingredients, price, manufacturing date, expiry date, batch number etc. The tube itself has a little sticker at the bottom end which contains the shade name, manufacturing date and batch number. It is elegant and travel-friendly. This is the same packaging that I first saw in Korea for the Shu Uemura Tint in Gelato.
I loved the shades in this range and was tempted to pick up all of them but I convinced myself to pick just one. And I picked the 002 Royal Pink shade.
The 002 Royal Pink shade is a neutral mid-tone pink that will work for many skintones. It is the kind of pink anyone can wear everyday and is office-appropriate too!
This lip stain comes in a liquid lipstick form and the formula is very easy to apply on the lips. It is creamy at first but sets to a matte finish. Once dry, it feels like nothing on the lips – completely weightless! It leaves a very light pink-stained-lips effect behind.
Since I have dry lips, I find that it makes my lips feel drier so I always apply a generous coat of lip balm to prep my lips. I also reapply lip balm every couple of hours.
It is a long-lasting formula and stays put even after meals give or take a bit of wear in the middle of the lips. It does not bleed or feather. It is also easy to touch up through the day and is also easy to remove with any cream or oil-based makeup remover. For my dry lips, I did notice it looking a bit flaky after a few hours. Exfoliating the lips before applying this Lip Stain works wonders in how it looks so I recommend doing it beforehand.

[bctt tweet=”@lovecolorbar Kiss Proof Lip Stain stays true to its claim – matte finish, long-lasting, no feathering. #bbloggers”]
Colorbar Kiss Proof Lip Stain stays true to its claim – matte finish, long-lasting, no feathering. All of the shades are gorgeous and the packaging is also attractive. For a drugstore lip stain, it is a bit pricey at 900 INR. I would recommend it to people looking for long-lasting lightweight lip stains. I will be reviewing a couple of more lip products from Colorbar soon!
