Baking Powder Pore Cleansing Foam might be the most hyped face washes from Etude House right now. The Etude House Baking Powder Pore Cleansing Foam was released in 2012 I think but I did not take on the hype until late 2013. I have been using it for three months now (my second bottle) and here are my thoughts on it! Read my haul post.
Product: Etude House Baking Powder Pore Cleansing Foam

One of key points of this face wash are that it is supposed to clean pores because Baking Powder is a cleansing agent. I suspected Baking Powder to be a harsh chemical and therefore avoided buying it until curiosity got the best of me!
This face wash is very creamy when I first squeeze it out from the tube. Once I start massaging it all over my damp face, it starts lathering up and I feel a few tiny particles that also gently exfoliate the skin.
I notice a bit of tightening of skin after drying my face with a towel. And since I have dry skin, I am not sure this is even good for my skin; I also do not enjoy the squeaky clean feeling on my face. Of course I want a clean skin but I do not like to exfoliate everyday. I suspect this would be really good for people with oily skin especially for teenagers.
However, my face despite feeling a bit dry due to the weather and probably this face wash, has been cleaner with fewer breakouts so I have continued using this face wash.
This face wash is SLS free but it does contain Potassium Laurate. It smells citrus-y due to the lemon and orange peel oils (the orange scent is more pronounced). The packaging is basic tube form and I think there is a lot of product in there for the price.
I have also seen claims of this face wash removing makeup (even though the Etude House Baking Powder BB Cleansing Foam is meant for the purpose) but I have not personally tried it because I like to be sure of removing my makeup 100%. I feel uneasy just washing my face with a face wash if I am wearing a full face of makeup.
I cannot say if this is the best product for dry skin type but it definitely delivers its promise. And it also gives a slight brightening effect to the skin (which I do not think stays long). For people who like to exfoliate their skin daily, this is a great option and it is pretty affordable and one of the better face washes I have tried from drugstore!
