Etude House has launched a lot of products in the past few weeks. I will be doing a collective “Etude House New Launch” post soon but before that I wanted to share the swatches of the Proof10 Gelquid liners. I really liked the formula on swatching and got one shade to try out and review. So here are the details I found on the Gelquid liners:
Product: Etude House Proof 10 Gelquid Liner
Claim: This is a waterproof gel liner that completes powerful edge eye with its innovative texture and vivid color
Price: 9000 KRW (~ 9$) | Buy Online
Etude House Proof 10 Gelquid Liner Shades:
- RD301 Blood
- BR401 Espresso
- BR402 Deep Sand
- GR701 Forest
- BK801 Black Hole
I am not too much into red or green eyeliners so I was naturally inclined towards the usual black and brown shades. The shades RD301 (Blood) and BR401 (Espresso) do not have shimmer while all the other three are quite shimmery. And I see that all of these have glossy finish.
I liked the easy-to-glide formula of these eyeliners and picked up BR402 (Deep Sand). The brush was quite thin and flexible so I guessed it would be easy to create a neat cat eye using this one. I have used this eyeliner 3 times after getting it so I will use it a few more days before giving my official verdict. At almost 9$ this is a little pricey though for a drugstore eyeliner. I really like the Oh M Eye Line liquid eyeliners by Etude House and they are just 4$ a piece. Anyway, this is a new formula and I am seeing a gradual increase in Etude House prices in the new products. Anyway. I will leave you with the Etude House official swatch photo. This photo belongs to the Etude House Korean website.
As you can see in the photos above (and compare them with my swatches), you can see the difference. That is one of the reasons I like to do swatch posts. I think the magazine style photos on the company’s websites are always remarkably different than how the product looks in person. Hope you find this helpful. I am in Korea for only a few more days now so I will get as many swatches as I can! After that I will also order online like all of you to use and review the Korean products 🙂
Disclaimer: I do swatch posts just for fun and in hopes that it will be helpful to others.
