Etude House Proof10 Auto Pencil Review
One of my go to looks for a natural makeup is – Brown liner, two coats of mascara, BB cream and a MLBB lipstick look. And I think one of the trickiest colors to get right in makeup is a brown liner. It can be too deep, or light, or ash-y etc. and different shades work for different skintones. So when I came across the Etude House Proof10 Auto Pencil BR402, I knew I had to try it. You have already seen this featured in many of my makeup tutorials. Here’s the review for you!

Etude House Proof10 Auto Pencil Liner comes in a retractable brown plastic pencil. The outer body is blue in color with color-coded bottoms. The lid secures tightly! Tip sharpeners for retractable liners are really popular these days and considering their use, I give brownie points to Etude House for giving it with this afforable eyeliner pencil! (Even Etude House Play 101 Pencils do come with that sharpener!)

The shade BR401 is a matte brown shade but I picked up BR402 which contains with gold shimmer. It is not the in-your-face kind of shimmer but a subtle shine to bring light to the eyes. The formula of this pencil liner is creamy and it sets fast to a smudge-proof finish. It also lasts all day on me without travelling to my under eye area. It is water-proof but does fade a little through the day though!
I do not think this works great for my upper lashline, as it is not dark enough and also because of the shimmer, but I always love how it looks on my lower lashline. I love the formula of this eyeliner, it glides so smoothly on the skin without tugging. It is also easy to remove with any good quality makeup remover. It does not irritate my eyes at all.

Overall I am super happy with my Etude House Proof10 Auto Pencil. It was released 4-5 years ago and is still available so I am sure it has a huge fan following too. I would recommend the Etude House Proof10 Auto Pencil to everyone looking for an affordable, richly pigmented, long-lasting, smudge-proof eyeliner. The retractable packaging is of course a bonus! There are 4 other shades in this range, see my Etude House Proof10 Auto Pencil swatches post for the shades and swatches!
