Korean cosmetics are very famous for their good quality all over the world. I had heard about the various innovative products like snail mucus product, placenta face mask etc. much before I ever had any plans to visit South Korea. I have tried major drugstore brands in Korea and have my favorites sorted out even though I am yet to explore all brands.
“It’s Skin” is another Korean cosmetic brand, started in 2006 by dermatologist(s?) from Seoul University. I like using natural products on my face so I decided to give this brand a chance to impress me. I visited their Gangnam store on Friday and came back with a few things.
I have fallen in love with the packaging of some products. Of course in such cases customers pay for the packaging so I decided to buy products on other reasons than cute packaging. The Macaroon lip balm was super cute and especially tempting but the plethora of lip balms in my vanity stopped me.
There was an upto 50% SALE going on at the time (and yes I was aware of it before I went there) so some single eyeshadows, nail paints, lip pencils, eyebrow and eye liner pencils were 1000 Korean Won and some lipsticks and lip balms were 2000 ₩.

There were two other body scrubs in the store but the smell of the other two was unpleasant to me and I liked the Lavender Body Scrub. It is one of the most relaxing scent ever.
Glitter Pearl Powder was available in 3 shades – Violet and Pink (there are actually a total of 5 shades in this line) but the blue one caught my attention first so I went with it.
There were fewer shades in the SALE for matte nail colors but I loved this blue a lot. It is different from other blue nail paints I own and will be apt for fall too!
There was no sale on the 1 Minute Innovation Nail Stylure but I loved this muted pink shade a lot. it reminds me of MAC’s Star Violet eyeshadow. This shade represents the kind of nail paints I used to wear till I started my blog last year. I have been experimenting quite a lot since then but it is comforting to go back to ‘my’ shades every now and then.
I love the Body Scrub already (without even using it!) and I like the eyeshadow Duo stick. Which one of the products from It’s Skin haul impresses you? Have you tried It’s Skin products before?
