It is that time of the month when I look back on how well I used my products. I ask myself a lot of questions like how many products did I buy, how may products did I actually use how many did I review and finally how many worked for me? Despite February being the shortest month, it is always the most exciting time for me. With my birthday, wedding anniversary and some family occasions, I always have a lot of fun. It also means I get gifts and I also shop more than the rest of the year! I also use my makeup more (to get ready for the special occasion) So here is a list of everything I used and loved in February 2014!

There are a lot of returning favorites in this list (Skincare – It’s Skin Skincell Clinical Solution Serum, L’Occitane Almond Milk Concentrate, Banila Co. Clean it Zero cleansing balm, The Face Shop Fruit Bowl Lemon Hand Cream) (Makeup – SkinFood Fresh Fruit Lip & Cheek – Grapefruit, Missha M Perfect BB Cream, Estee Lauder Double Wear Zero Smudge Lengthening Mascara, Estee Lauder Pure Color Gloss 64 Sun Burst Sparkle). Since I have already talked about them in great detail in my January favorites post, I am going to talk about the new entrants!
I received the Tony Moly Floria Nutra-Energy 100 Hours cream and Tony Moly Floria Nutra-Energy Toner as gifts with purchase. I got a lot of Tony Moly skincare products for my birthday so I qualified for a couple of gifts. One of them was this set and the Aura CC cream (which I am yet to use). The toner bottle contained 30 ml while the cream was 15 ml. These were only supposed to last me a week but maybe I use too less at a time because the cream lasted for almost 16 days while even after 21 uses, I still have some toner left! The Tony Moly Nutra-Energy toner is the best one I have ever used and it has never dried out my skin. The 100 hours cream is also every moisturizing and ideal for winter! I will definitely buy these in full size in the future!
Happy Bath natural body oil is one of the sweetest smelling body oils I have ever used! I do not mind the sweet smell ad it is super moisturizing to the body. I was developing a dry skin patch on the back of my neck but it disappeared in 3 days after using this body oil. This oil is very light weight so I do not feel greasy at all (I like using body oils anyway). For the days I want even lighter moisturization, I wash it off with water. My skin is soft even the next day before shower! I was not using this everyday earlier but this was my go to body moisturizer in February!
Etude House Super Collagen Multi Stick is a fairly new launch by Etude House and I got it just because I am sucker for multi-purpose (moisturizing) products! I love using this under my foundation and even apply it with a face cream on the dry spots of my face. This has really helped me from developing the extreme dry spots I get this time of the year!
I used a face mask every 3-4 days in February. I used The Face Shop Real Nature masks – Acai Berry, Honey, Mung Bean, Cucumber and Etude House I Need You! A-Z masks – Collagen, Mango, Shea Butter. Except for the Etude House Mango mask, everything else worked for me. These are 1000 KRW moisturizing masks and I use them mostly to moisturize my skin and help me relax before sleeping! I am hoping they alo have some skincare benefits!
For makeup I have reviewed a few of the products in this list while I am still using and testing others to make a final decision. Of course the ones that I think are working for me and the ones that I reached for in February made to this list!
I have been loving the Etude House Skin Fit foundation a lot. Initially I did not like it, it seemed too light when I applied it but once it settles, it actually fits the skin color (at least mine). It also stays put all day and has medium coverage. This was released with the Color Lips-fit lipsticks (both are a part of the 2014 Spring Summer collection). I have using the shade Color Lips-Fit PK002 Silhouette Fit Pink a lot. It is my kind of pink – bright and beautiful.
For blushes, I love the natural shades – Etude House Lovely Cookie Blusher #7 Rose Sugar Macaron and the bronzer – Face Color Corset #5 Tight Shading Corset! The blusher is a peachy pink with a hint of shimmer which really gives a natural beautiful glow to the cheeks and works especially well with smokey eye looks. The bronzer is too light for me to contour with so I apply as a blusher, a little lower on my cheek than blush and a little higher than bronzer to create the illusion of a slim face. I like how it looks!
I did lot of shimmer-y gold eyes and bold lips looks in February so MAC Woodwinked was my staple alongwith Missha Signature Extreme Cover Concealer and Missha M Sheer Mineral Powder foundation to hide my dark circles! I do not do much concealing on the res of my face normally but I really like to work a concealer under my eyes! To set the concealer and also give additional coverage, I top it off with the mineral powder foundation!
My most used eyeshadow palette was my 18-color Estee Lauder Pure Color Eyeshadow palette from the Makeup Artist Professional Color Collection! It is ideal for all kinds of eye looks. I am happy to have invested in this makeup collection. It’s a keeper! Last month I had already raved about the Estee Lauder mascara and gloss and they were still my favorite!
That is one long post and I hope you liked reading about my favorites from the month of February! What have you been using all of last month? Which one would you like to try from this list?
