Hi everyone, today I bring you another review and swatch video of the L’Oreal Paris Mega Glosses from the Cannes 2016 collection. There are many shades in this lip gloss range, and they come in Dazzle, Cream and Extreme Resist forms in Idia. I received 3 shades from the Dazzle range meaning all of the ones I received have shimmer! The Mega Gloss shades I received are 202 Gloss Me I’m Gorgeous, 208 Flash Dance, and 210 Disco Ball. I have been trying them out for over a week now so here is the review!

Claim: The L’Oreal Paris Mega Gloss formula is enriched with Hyaluronic Acid and shine colour pigments, leaving lips hydrated with a high level of shine. Enjoy a glossy look, without stickiness. The lip shaper applicator contours and hugs lips for a perfect glossy pout, all day.
How to use the Infallible Mega Gloss:
- Fill the applicator with the Mega Gloss Infallible Texture.
- Apply the lip gloss firstly onto the lower lip, from the center to the corners. Repeat this on your upper lip, paying extra attention to your cupids bow. This way you will achieve a perfectly shaded effect, leaving the middle of your lips looking more intense and shinier in color.
- For an even glossier effect, apply Infallible Lip Top Coat.
L’Oreal Paris Infallible Mega Gloss come in a rectangular packaging with clear plastic body and a black lid. The shade of the gloss is visible on the outside so even if you have a huge collection, you will be easily able to spot the shade. Actually there are 5 finishes in which the Mega Gloss are available – Cream, Dazzle, Matte, Extreme Finish and Neon Finish internationally. But in India they have only launched the Cream, Dazzle and Extreme finish until now. All of the Mega Gloss finishes have a distinct scent – Cream Mega Gloss smell like Pralines, Extreme Finish Mega Gloss smell powdery fresh while the Dazzle shades have a fruity scent.
I received the 3 Dazzle shades so here is how they look like (in the packaging as well as on me) Please note that I am wearing only the gloss without any lipliner or lipstick in the FOTDs!
202 Gloss Me I’m Gorgeous
The shade 202 Gloss Me I’m Gorgeous is a dazzle shade from the Mega Gloss range by L’Oreal Paris. It is a Burgundy shade with cool toned pink shimmer specs. Being a Dazzle gloss it reflects light and looks like a deep statement shade. Out of all the 3 shades, I had to put in a little extra effort to build it up evenly on the lips. The lip shaper applicator is perfect to line the lips with the pointy end and fill in with the angled doe foot applicator. This is a well pigmented shade but to get an even finish, you need 2-3 good swipes of color over the lips. It is not very sticky and has a fruity scent.
208 Flash Dance
The shade 208 Flash Dance is another dazzle shade from the Mega Gloss range by L’Oreal Paris. It is a rusty brown shade with gold shimmer specs. This is my favorite shade right now out of the lip glosses I have tried from the L’Oreal Paris Cannes collection. It is a statement shade again but looks far more wearable than the Gloss Me I’m Gorgeous shade. I think it would look good on most Indian skin tones begin a medium warm toned brown shade. It is shimmery so it would work great for special occasions as well. The lip shaper applicator worked perfectly to line and fill in the lips. This gloss is not very sticky either and has a fruity scent.
210 Disco Ball
The shade 210 Disco Ball is a dazzle shade from the Mega Gloss range by L’Oreal Paris. It is a champange gold shade with golden shimmer specs. The name is really apt for this one, it looks like disco ball! And even though out of the three shades, this is one I would have picked up for myself based on the looks of it, it is not my favorite!
It is a glossy gold shade so I feel like it looks a bit overpowering on its own on me. This is one is also well-pigmented but it is not opaque so if you have pigmented lips, use a n*de lip liner to even out the color and create a good base. The lip shaper applicator is perfect once again and deposit the gloss well on the lips. I still enjoyed using this shade, it can work well on its own and can also be used with other lipsticks. I have now been applying it only to the center of my lower lip (with deeper lipsticks) to create the illusion of fuller lips. This gloss is also not very sticky and has a fruity scent.
The Mega Glosses lasted for upto 5 hours on my lips on an average. I got better results with the 208 Flash Dance shade. These glosses do not leave a stain behind ad are easy to remove with any standard makeup remover. I did not notice any feathering out or streaking but as I mentioned above, the shade 202 was a little challenging to apply evenly on the lips.
I have read reviews of the Mega Gloss in Cream finish and they seem even less sticky and more natural to wear. I really enjoyed trying out the Mega Glosses I received and if you like shimmery glosses then go for the Dazzle finish. In case you are into natural look, go for the Cream finish!

Overall, the L’Oreal Infallible Mega Gloss are well-pigmented, colorful, long-lasting glosses that come in various finishes for our needs. Go for the Cream finish for a subtle everyday look or go for the Dazzle finish for a statement/party look. These glosses do not leave a stain behind and are easy to remove. They were not sticky like many other lip glosses and lasted well for 4-5 hours even between snacks. I highly recommend them! If you are going to pick one shade out of these, I would suggest going with 208 Flash Dance.
