L’Oreal Paris Kajal Magique Bold – Review, Swatches, Price in India!
Maybelline and L’Oreal introduced their bold black kajals at the same time in the Indian market. Both already had well-performing kajals – Maybelline the Colossal Kajal and L’Oreal Paris Kajal Magique. These new kajals are the revamped and black-er versions of the originals. While I tried and reviewed the Maybelline Colossal Kajal Super Black quite early, I only got to try and review the Kajal Magique Bold only recently. I have incorporated it in various makeup looks recently so here is the detailed review for you!

L’Oreal Kajal Magique Bold comes in a black plastic retractable pencil with gold print. The packaging can be distinguished from the Kajal Magique easily since it had black body with pink print. This kajal is definitely more pigmented (black) and opaque than its original counterpart. I have that too and plan to do a comparison post soon.
L’Oreal Kajal Magique Bold has a creamy consistency with deep black pigments. It is very intense, pretty much the same as the Maybelline Super Black. It glides on smoothly on the skin and sets to a satin finish. It can be smudged within a few moments after application for a smoky effect. I even tried using it for my Deepika Padukone inspired makeup look.
I have oily eyelids and water-y eyes so any kajal, no matter how good, smudges a bit on me. So I was not surprised to see that Kajal Magique Bold also smudged a little. But what surprised me was that it stayed put for 5-6 hours before smudging slightly. After that also, it gave me a wear time of more than 12 hours. I had to use my NUXE Micellar water to remove it completely.
It did not sting and looked really good all day long. So I think it would work for sensitive eyes. It is perfect for everyday use as you can apply it in the morning and forget about it! I am loving it a lot these days and am sure that anyone who loves kajals would love it.
FOTD featuring L’Oreal Kajal Magique Bold:
Overall I am pleased with the L’Oreal Paris Kajal Magique Bold. It is jet black, sets to a satin finish and stays all day long with minimal smudging. It is perfect for everyday use and even though it is dearer than the Kajal Magique, I think it is still affordable when compared to other deep black drugstore kajals! I would highly recommend the L’Oreal Paris Kajal Magique Bold!
