Hi everyone! I am here today to review the Spring Radiance box from the L’Oreal Paris L’OR Lumiere The Cannes Collection. Three makeup boxes each containing 3 L’Oreal products were released a couple of months ago. The boxes are: Spring Radiance, Reign in Red, and Resplendent Gold. I had the L’Oreal Gelmatic Pen in Glamour Gold (review coming soon) and did not like the pigmentation and color payoff so I decided to opt for the Spring Radiance box since it is the only one of the three not featuring the Gelmatic eyeliners. Plus I was really drawn to the Purple Obsession Infallible monos eyeshadow. Read on to find out my full review!

I have read some good reviews about the L’Oreal Paris Infallible Monos so I really wanted to try one. Plus purple is my favorite shade for eyeshadow looks so I really wanted to test out the 005 Purple Obsession shade. Since I gifted my nail paint collection in Korea to my friends, I wanted to try some new nail paints and the 209 Ingenuous Rose looked like something I could wear a lot. And if you have seen my L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Moist Matte lipstick swatches, you know I really wanted to own a few shades 🙂 All in all, for 1299INR (~2$), I am happy to grab 3 new Loreal Products to try especially since the retail price of the individual items is far above the price I paid for th Spring Radiance box.
In terms of packaging though, I was not that impressed when I opened the box. It looked beautiful on the outside and I really loved Sonam Kapoor’s shot on the face of the packaging, but the packaging is not really meant for reuse. It slides open on the side and the balance rests on just one nail and I did not like the material on the inside of the box either. Of course for the price, I am least bothered about the box. I do not intend on using it anyway.
I loved the colors, pigmentation and payoff of all the three products and have already featured the makeup look and NOTD on my Instagram account (Follow me on Instagram).
Here is the makeup look I created using the eyeshadow and the lipstick from this set:
Here is the NOTD post featuring the nail paint from this box:
Overall, I liked trying out new L’Oreal Paris products, at least the ones new to me. The nail paint has made me curious about other shades in the range and I loved the Infallible monos eyeshadow, I want to try out more and I have been obsessed with my Moist Matte lipstick! One thing I really liked about the Cannes Collection is that all three sets come with different products (and product types) except for the Gelmatic Pen in Glamour Gold which is featured in both the Resplendent in Gold and Reign in Red sets. So one can try out all the sets and not have to choose one 😉 I will try out more infallible eyeshadows and Moist matte lipsticks soon. And for more nail paints, I am looking forward to trying out more Color Riche Vernis and Maybelline Color Show nail paints.
What did you think about the L’oreal Paris The Cannes Collection sets? Would you like to try the Spring Radiance box?
