It’s Skin is a Korean cosmetic brand with medical concepts. It uses only natural ingredients using findings of various dermatological studies. It offers skin care products minimizing the use of preservatives and skin troubles. I am totally going to attest to this fact because the It’s Skin product that I am going to review today is a mask sheet and the Ingredient list on it is the smallest one I have seen so far amongst the other masksheets I have tried and if you have been following this blog for a while, you know I have tried plenty. Let’s see if the It’s Skin (Clinical Skin Solution) Collagen+ Mask sheet works!

The first thing when I got this mask a few months ago was the tiny ingredient list and the fuss-free packaging. I mean most Korean brands are known for their packaging and they do something for the masks as well but I sort of liked the clean packaging. It makes it a grown up thing 😉 So anyway the Ingredient list has 13 ingredients which is small if I compare it to The Face Shop, Etude House face masksheets. It does contain “Parfum” and Methylparaben 🙁
This is the first masksheet that I think it smells relatively nice. The other “scented” masksheets I have used do not smell as good and this one is powdery sweet. Anyway, it also contains Hydrolyzed Extensin and Sodium Hyaluronate. I have mixed feelings about this actually. On one side the ingredient list is small while on the other hand I am disappointed that there are no plant extracts! On to the actual masksheet…
The masksheet was really wide and fit well to the skin. The essence on (in?) the masksheet was not very runny and did not drip while I was unfolding the mask. I placed it on my face and it was really cooling to the skin. I kept it on for 17-18 minutes and there was not a lot of essence on my face. I had to tap a little to get it absorbed to my skin. My skin felt moisturized but I did not feel anything different from other masksheets. But when I woke up in the morning, my skin was still supple which means the effect lasted overnight.
None of the face masksheets I have used have been magic potions and this one is not either. It is just a quick fix for dry or dull skin. Since the essence is not very sticky or thick, I think this mask will work for all skintypes (as claimed). I think Collagen skincare products are abundant in the market and the other Collagen face mask sheet I liked was Etude House, I Need You! Collagen maskaheet.
