Stila “The Natural” Collectible Palette – Swatches, Photos and Details!

I have heard so many good things about Stila cosmetics that when I encountered a huge sale on their palettes in LOHB (Love Health and Beauty) outlet in Seoul, I could not resist myself from picking some stuff. Sadly I could not get my hands on the In The Light, In the Know, In the Garden and In the Moment palettes were sold out but I still picked up three palettes from the collectible range which were released last year – I picked up “The Natural”, “Dare to Bare” and ” Portrait of a Perfect Blush” palettes. The expiry date is in 2016 so I know i can get use out of these palettes for the price I have payed. So anyway. Today I wanted to do swatches of “The Natural Palette”.

The Natural collectible palette comes with 6 eyeshadows, 1 all over shimmer powder, 1 bronzer:

  • Eyeshadows –
    1. Pure
    2. Linen
    3. Innocent
    4. Element
    5. Demure
    6. Silk
  • All Over Shimmer Powder – Organza
  • Bronzer – Soft Clay

I think that the eye looks that I can create with this palette (solely) will be softer, daytime-appropriate, everyday looks that are also office-appropriate. I love the 3 matte, 3 shimmer finish layout of this palette. For people with hooded eyes, who need mattes in crease and/or transition colors, having mattes in a palette can be pretty convenient.

I am not a huge fan of Organza, the shimmer powder as it does not look great on me especially as a cheek highlighter.

The bronzer is also not a hugely useful thing for me since it contains shimmer so I cannot use it as a contour shade. I am also not into warming up my skin with a bronzer (it is already warm enough thank you very much).

So all in all I got these shades just for the eyeshadows since I am running low on the neutral eyeshadows especially in palettes! So far I have been loving the look I have created with Silk(eyelid), Innocent (crease) and Pure (highlight)!

Have you tried Stila makeup products? Which is your favorite neutral palette ever?
