I went to the Greater Kailash M Block market recently and could not resist picking up a few products from the Forest Essentials store. I had been wanting to try out a shower oil so that is what I picked up first and then while roaming around I picked up the Mashobra Honey, Lemon & Rosewater facial cleanser. Even though I detest most artificial smelling rose scents, I actually enjoy subtle rose scents that few brands do exceptionally well – one of them being Forest Essentials. I have been using it for a few days now so thought of sharing my review with all of you!

Forest Essentials Mashobra Honey, Lemon and Rosewater Facial Cleanser comes in a clear plastic bottle with gold twist open lid. The bottle mouth has a stopper with a hole that dispenses the appropriate amount of the product. This is the standard Forest Essentials packaging – minimal and yet classy.
The face wash itself has the color resembling honey and has a thin gel-like consistency. It smells of roses and lemon, the scent is very refreshing and delicate at the same time. It only takes a teeny tiny amount of the facial cleanser for the whole face.
Soap or other lathering agents have not been listed on the packaging, it only mentions the key ingredients, but the face wash does lather well. It is very gentle to the skin and washes out completely with water without drying out the skin or leaving residue behind. The scent does not linger for very long though.
I have really enjoyed using Forest Essentials products till now and the Mashobra Wild Honey, Lemon and Rosewater facial cleanser is no exception. I have not been using a lot of skincare lately because the humidity makes my dry skin breakout (the irony of getting dry skin breakout due to oil production!), so this delicate facial cleanser has been what I use to clean my skin. I then leave it bare through the day and only use lightly nourishing products at night.

Forest Essentials produce quality products and their products have never cease to amaze me. They smell wonderful (without being too in-your-face or chemical-y) and work well on my dry skin. The ingredients are top class and the best part is they are natural or nature-origin. I would highly recommend this facial cleanser to anyone looking for a gentle facial cleanser for everyday use. I think people with sensitive skin can also use this face wash without concerns!
